Bilingual Sections

Teachers work for a maximum of six years in schools in Bulgaria, China, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Russia. The terms of the collaboration, which include working conditions like those of the local teachers, are established through an agreement with the Ministry.

These schools offer the local curriculum plus subject contents in Spanish Language and Culture taught in Spanish. After passing their final exams, students obtain the Spanish High School Certificate.

This program offers a great opportunity for teacher professional development and it will have a positive effect at the Spanish schools they join upon their return. The Ministry provides financial aid to participating teachers, offers professional development and materials to the participating schools and finances the organization of an annual international theatre festival.
